[edit] Gaijutsu no Shiryo

  • Does not require bowing the Personality to whom he transfers using his ability. [JA, 12 December 2001]
  • Does not gain stat and trait bonuses from Tattoos, because he may not "use" Tattoos. [JA, 12 December 2002]
  • Cannot be targeted by a Tattoo action that requires a particular type of Personality (e.g., monk or shugenja for Moth Tattoo). [JA, 13 December 2002]

[edit] Garotte

  • Because it is a pre-Gold Edition card that negates an Honor gain as an effect, its action has the implied Political keyword (see Older Cards).

[edit] Garrison

  • Its first trait is meant only to satisfy the Rule of Presence at a battle where you have no units in your army; no other implications should be assumed from this text (ie, that it would allow you to take an action with the base condition "If you control exactly one unit at the current battlefield..."). [ZF, 28 April 2002; Clarified, BC, 06 August 2008]

[edit] Geisha Assassin

  • If 0-1G is spent, the 0 Chi Personality dies and the duel does not happen. [DW, 18 April 1998]
  • If there is no challenge, the created Personality is immediately removed from the game. [ZF, 6 December 2005]

[edit] Gekido no Oni

  • Renamed from Oni no Gekido. [MRP, Diamond Edition, 27 October 2003]

[edit] Genzo

  • Should read, "Reaction: Bow Genzo..." [Erratum, Fire & Shadow rulebook, RD, 23 April 1997]

[edit] Gift of Rice

  • Reads, "Gift of Rice 0G 1FV Open: Straighten a target Holding. Until the beginning of your next turn, all Personalities controlled by other players have +1F. If you control the Holding, it can't straighten until after your next straighten phase." [Erratum, web, 20 August 2006]

[edit] Gifts and Favors

  • If you use its trait and find a copy in your deck, you may not search your Provinces, because it instructs you to play the first you find. [ZF, 15 April 2003; Clarified, BC, 06 August 2008]

[edit] Goju Hitomi

  • Even though this card has no KYD designator and has the same title as Hitomi Experienced 3 (due to alternate title rules here and here), the two cards are distinct and may be included in the same deck. [BC, 06 August 2008]

[edit] Gozoku Sensei

  • Paying a cost of discarding the Imperial Favor, even using alternate means (Hidden Catacombs, Commanding Favor) will count as discarding the Favor for the purpose of ending the Sensei's ongoing effect. [ZF, 06 July 2005]

[edit] Gunsen of Water

  • There is no cost reduction for having the Ring of Water in play. [Erratum, JA, email, 5 January 2003]
